3DEXPERIENCE users can follow compact, integrated learning modules
called Quick Tours. Each Quick Tour has a sequence of steps shown as interactive popups that
point to elements in the user interface.
Quick Tours interactively teach you the basics of using SOLIDWORKS
Connected and the Design With SOLIDWORKS app.
Available Quick Tours:
- User Interface Overview
- Save to 3DEXPERIENCE
- Open from 3DEXPERIENCE
To access Quick Tours, in the
Welcome dialog box, do one of the following:
- On the Learn tab, click
Quick Tours.
- On the Home tab, click
Explore Quick Tours.
To start a Quick Tour, click the named button, for example
User Interface Overview. To progress through the steps,
click
Next inside the popup step. The popups
include the step numbers so you can gauge your progress.
When you complete a Quick Tour, a check
mark appears on the button.
To exit a Quick Tour, in a step, click
X. A message confirms you are exiting the Quick Tour. You can restart
the Quick Tour from the
Learn tab.
When you start a Quick Tour, if you click anywhere other than in a
highlighted area
or
Next in the popup step, you exit the Quick Tour and must restart
from the beginning.
