Managing Favorite Materials

Managing favorites maintains the materials Favorites list, available when you right-click the Material item in the FeatureManager design tree. From the Favorites list, you can quickly apply a material without displaying the Material dialog box.

To manage favorites:

  1. In a part document, right-click Material in the FeatureManager design tree and select Manage Favorites.
  2. Perform an action:
    • Add a material to the Favorites list. Select a material in the material tree, then click Add.
    • Remove a material from the Favorites list. Select a material in the Favorites list, then click Remove.
    • Change the position of a material in the Favorites list. Select a material in the favorites list, then click Up or Down.
