High Dynamic Range Imaging
In an image, the dynamic range is the contrast ratio between the brightest
and the darkest areas. High dynamic range manipulates the contrast between
bright and dark areas. Manipulating this range results in more accurate
depictions of how the light affects objects, their shadows, and how those
objects reflect the environment.
