Report Options

Report Format Settings

  • Report style. Select a report template for use with Word output only. The software uses the default report templates that are available with Microsoft Word. You can customize these templates using Microsoft Word functionality. The available templates are: contemporary report.dot, elegant report.dot, and professional report.dot. You cannot add new templates to the list.

  • Sections. See Report Sections for available options for various sections. Click a single arrow to move a section from one list to the other. Click a double arrow to move all the sections from one list to the other.

  • Move up and Move down. Change the order sections appear in the Included sections list and subsequently in the report.

  • Add. Add a user defined section to the report.

  • Remove. Select a section to remove. The software deletes a user defined section and moves a default section from Included sections to Available sections.

Document Settings

  • Report path. The location is set as a Default Option. Browse to a new path, if desired.

  • Report name. Type a name for the report.

  • Show report on publish. Select to open the report when you click Publish. When cleared, you can double-click the report in the Simulation study tree to open the report.

  • Publish as. Select HTML or Word. When you select Word, the software applies the Report style as a template.

Page numbers do not automatically appear in the Microsoft Word document. You can manually add them to the footers.

Buttons

  • Publish. Saves the changes to the report, generates the report, closes the dialog box, and opens the report if Show report on publish is selected.

  • Apply. Saves the changes to the report without publishing the report.

  • Cancel. Closes the dialog box without saving the changes to the report.
