Time History Graph

The Time History Graph PropertyManager allows you to generate a 2D graph of the results at certain locations. Time history graphs are available for nonlinear, drop test, and modal time history analyses.

For transient thermal studies, use the probe tool to create time history graphs at certain locations.

Response

  • Predefined locations. Lists the vertices and reference points you defined as Workflow sensitive sensors.

  • All nodes. Lists all nodes in the model. Available only if you did not select vertices or reference points in the Result Options PropertyManager before running the study.

Use the Probe PropertyManager to identify node locations.

For Arc-length and Displacement control method:

For Force control method, and drop test:

For modal time history:

X-Axis Range (Time)

(appears if time is selected above for X-axis)

  • Full. Select to plot results for all time steps

  • Defined. Select to plot results for a selected time interval

    • Min. Minimum value of time interval

    • Max. Maximum value of time interval

    • Resolution of intermediate points. Set the resolution of intermediate time steps. For example, if you set 2, results are plotted for every other time step.
