Table Cell, Row, or Column Toolbars

You can use the table cell, row, or column toolbars to format Bill of Materials, Hole Tables, Revision Tables, or Weldment Cut Lists.

Click a table cell, row, or column to access the toolbar.

Set these options from the toolbar:

  • Font formatting. Click Use document font to change the font format. You can apply the formatting to selected rows, columns, or to the entire table.

  • Horizontal paragraph justification. Aligns text to the cell. Click Left Align , Center Align , or Right Align .

  • Vertical paragraph justification. Aligns text to the cell. Click Top Align , Middle Align , or Bottom Align .

  • Text rotation. Click Rotate to rotate the text in 90° increments counterclockwise.

  • Fit text. Click Fit Text to toggle fitting the text to the cell.

  • Equation editing. Click Equation to set up an equation in a cell. See Table Equation Editor.

  • Cell padding. Type or select a new value for Horizontal or Vertical Cell Padding .

  • Column properties. Click Column Property to open the Column Properties menu for BOMs. Other table column properties are listed in the appropriate PropertyManager:

  • Hide or show data. Click Hide/Show . The pointer changes to , and you can select rows or columns to hide or show. When you select the tool, any rows or columns that are currently hidden are highlighted in blue.

  • Table headers. Click Table Header Top or Table Header Bottom to position the table header above or below the rows.
