Installing the Dispatch Add-In (64-Bit)

You can install the Enterprise PDM Dispatch add-in if you have sufficient rights to install and administer add-ins. Once installed, any client connected to the vault in which it is installed can access Dispatch commands.

This procedure describes how to install the Dispatch add-in from the .dll included with the installation media. You can also install Dispatch by importing the Dispatch.caf file. See Adding Default Data Settings.

If you plan to use Dispatch on a 64-bit operating system, you must install the Dispatch64.dll file:

  1. Extract the file Dispatch64.dll to a temporary folder.

Dispatch is located on the install media under \Support\Dispatch.

  2. Open the Enterprise PDM Administration tool on a 64-bit operating system and expand the vault where Dispatch is to be installed.
  3. Right click Add-ins and click New Add-in.
  4. In the Open dialog box, navigate to the extracted Dispatch64.dll file, and click Open.
  5. In the Properties - Dispatch dialog box, click OK.
