Area Hatch/Fill Options

You can set the hatch or fill options for any area hatch that you apply to a face or to a closed loop of a sketch entity in a drawing.

To set area hatch options for all documents:

  1. Click Options on the Standard toolbar, or click Tools, Options.

  2. On the System Options tab, click Area Hatch/Fill.

  1. Select from the options described below.

    The pattern is displayed in the preview window.

  2. Click OK.

Click Reset to restore factory defaults for all system options or only for options on this page.

Type of hatch or fill. Choose None, Solid, or Hatch. The subsequent options are available only for Hatch. The default color of the solid fill is black. You can change the color of the fill by selecting the area hatch in the graphics area and clicking Line Color on the Line Format toolbar (except in section views).

Pattern. Select a crosshatch pattern from the Pattern list.

Scale. Type a scale value.

Angle. Type an angle in degrees.
