Managing Favorites

Use favorites to save property settings so you can easily select the same part size later. You assign a part number and a description to each favorite.

1. Drag a part from the Design Library into the assembly.
2. In the PropertyManager, do any of the following:
   • To create a new favorite:
     
     1. Set properties.
     2. Under Favorites, click Add/Update .
     3. In the Toolbox - New Part Number dialog box, type a Part number and Description.

        Part number defaults to the Configuration Name or File Name depending on your part-creation mode (see Toolbox - User Settings).

     4. Click OK.
   • To change the part number or description of an existing favorite:
     
     1. Under Favorites, select the favorite.
     2. Click Add/Update .
     3. In the Toolbox - Edit Part Number dialog box, change Part number, Description, or both.
     4. Click OK.
   • To delete a favorite:
     
     1. Under Favorites, select the favorite.
     2. Click Delete .
     3. In the confirmation box, click Yes.
