Review/Measure-Enabled Files
Review-enabled files make the following SolidWorks eDrawings Professional
tools available:
Measure-enabled files allow you to make exact measurements of models
with Measure
.
You can disable measurement
when you first create an eDrawings file. You cannot change this status
once an eDrawings file is created; you must republish it.
Icons in the status bar indicate the review and measurement status of
files:
Review-enabled
Review-disabled
Measure-enabled
Measure disabled
These icons are only file
status indicators and do not change the status.

[1] Review is enabled if the
file was created with SolidWorks eDrawings Professional.
[2] Measure is enabled if the
file was created with SolidWorks eDrawings Professional and Measure was
enabled.
[3] Measure is enabled if the
originator specified Measure enabled.
[4] Review and Measure are enabled
if the file was last saved in any SolidWorks Professional or Premium version.
To enable Measure:
In eDrawings,
in the Save As dialog box, select
Enable measure.
In SolidWorks,
in the Save As dialog box, click
Options and select Okay
to measure this eDrawings file.
