Configuring Materials
You can configure a part's material in the Modify Configurations dialog box.
To show the appropriate material appearance in each configuration, display states must be linked to configurations. Before configuring material, select
Link Display States to Configurations at the bottom of the ConfigurationManager
tab.
- In the FeatureManager design tree, right-click Material
and click Configure Material 
.
The Modify Configurations dialog box appears. In the Material column, a drop-down list of material Favorites is available for each configuration.
- To specify a material for a configuration, click
in the Material column, and then do one of the following:- Select a material from the list.
- Select Browse More at the bottom of the list to access the Material dialog box, where you can select a predefined material or create a custom material.
