Use the Controlled by Variable dialog box to make the available list values in a data card control depend on the value selected in another list or edit box.
To display this dialog box, add a list control (List box, Combobox Dropdown, Combobox Droplist, or Combobox Simple) to a data card. In the Properties pane, select Controlled by variable, and click Details.
Before using Controlled by Variable, you must define the controlling and dependent card lists that are used.
