Task Properties - Menu Command

Use the Menu Command page of a task's Properties dialog box to specify the right-click menu option that is displayed to users in File Explorer.

To display this page, do one of the following:

  • Expand the Tasks node and double-click a task. In the left pane, click Menu Command.
  • Right-click Tasks and select New Task. On the Add-in page, for Add-in, select the SolidWorks Task Add-in. In the left pane, click Menu Command.
Display a menu command in the File Explorer for this task Displays right-click menu command specified in Menu command field.

Clear if you do not want a right-click menu command to be displayed.

Status bar help text Command description that appears in the File Explorer status bar when the user mouses over the command.
