Creating New Templates by Copying and Pasting

You can copy an existing template as a starting point for creating a new template.
When you copy a template, supporting settings like template cards are not automatically copied. If you want to use the template in another vault, to include settings, export the source template, and then import it into the destination vault.

To create a template by copying and pasting:

  1. Expand Templates, right-click the source template, and click Copy.
  2. Right-click Templates and click Paste.
  3. Double-click the copy of the template to edit it.
