Changing or Removing References

To change or remove a reference:

  1. Check out the parent file.
  2. On the Contains tab, click Edit user defined reference .
  3. In the Edit User-Defined File References dialog box, do one of the following:
    • To remove a reference, clear Referenced.
    • To change whether a referenced file is in the BOM, select or clear Show in Bill of Materials.
    • To modify the quantity associated with a referenced file, change the value in the Quantity column.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Check in the parent file.
