Checking In

Check in an item after you create or modify it to make your changes available to other users.

  1. Select the items, then right-click and select Check In.
  2. In the Check in dialog box, ensure that only the items you want to check in are selected under the Check In column.
  3. Optionally select Keep Checked Out to continue editing an item.
  4. Type a Comment to describe your changes.
  5. Click Check in.

The system assigns a new version number to each new version. The items are now available for other users to check out.
