Modifying Component Dimensions

You can edit the dimensions of a multiple-configuration component in the assembly or drawing environment, regardless of which configuration is active in the component document.

Previously, in an assembly or drawing, you could not edit the configured component dimensions unless the configuration you were editing was also the active (open or last saved) configuration in the component document.

In an assembly with a component that has multiple configurations, double-click a dimension that has a different value for each configuration. In the Modify dialog box, you can set a new value for the dimension and specify to which configurations the change applies.
