Stores a float, string, or integer value on a body.

PropertyExtension
Value to store

Return Value

Unique identifier returned to access the property extension in the future using IBody2::GetPropertyExtension2

Remarks

SolidWorks recommends that you use the IAttribute, IAttributeDef, and IParameter classes instead of this method. These three classes provide more flexibility.

You must first define the object type (float, string, or integer), assign a value to your variable, and then call this method to place the value on the body for future reference.
