InsertWrapFeature Method (IFeatureManager)

Inserts a wrap feature using the selected sketch, pull direction, and nonplanar face.

Parameters

Type
  • 0 = Emboss

  • 1 = Deboss

  • 2 = Scribe

    • Thickness
    Thickness; 0.00001 through 10000 are valid values
    ReverseDir

    True to reverse direction, false to not

    Return Value

    Pointer to the IFeature object

    Example

    Remarks

    Selections must be marked as follows. You can use IModelDocExtension::SelectByID2 to mark selections.

    • 1 = Nonplanar face (nonplanar face on which to place wrap feature)

    • 2 = Pull direction (if Type is Emboss or Deboss)

    • 4 = 2D sketch of wrap feature; 3D sketches are invalid
