GetSnapShot Method (IModelViewManager)

Gets the specified snapshot of an assembly opened in Large Design Review mode.

SnapShotName
Name of snapshot to get

Return Value

ISnapShot

Remarks

This method is valid only for assemblies opened in Large Design Review mode.

To open an assembly in Large Design Review mode:

  1. Call ISldWorks::GetOpenDocSpec to create an instance of IDocumentSpecification.
  2. Set IDocumentSpecification::ViewOnly to true.
  3. Call ISldWorks::OpenDoc7, passing it the instance of IDocumentSpecification.

Call ISldWorks::OpenDoc6 with the Options parameter set to swOpenDocOptions_e.swOpenDocOptions_ViewOnly.
