The workspace is the basic building block of n!Fuze functionality.
You can use workspaces to logically organize your files and share them with people in your contacts list. Others can share their workspaces with you. Using workspaces, you can work collaboratively on a SolidWorks file with a colleague, or share files with customers or contractors.
When you share a file to a workspace you are not moving or copying it, but rather creating a shortcut to the original file you uploaded to your library. Any file viewed in a workspace represents the original, so any changes to it are immediately visible in any workspace to which that file has been shared.
In addition to the workspaces you create, there are two system workspaces used by n!Fuze for specific purposes:
Active SolidWorks File(s)—Always contains the file that currently has focus in the SolidWorks main application, along with any child references.
My n!Fuze Library—Contains all the files that you have uploaded to the cloud, whether or not they have been shared to any workspaces.
