Uploading

You can upload both SolidWorks and non-SolidWorks files to your n!Fuze library.

All SolidWorks file types are supported by n!Fuze. If the file you want to upload contains referenced files, they will also be included in the upload by default. You can also select whether to include drawings in the upload. When a file is uploaded, it is given a version number; this number is incremented by one each time the file is updated.

Once a file has been uploaded to a workspace, n!Fuze can track changes, updating only files that have been changed, and warning you if version conflicts exist. This feature increases the accuracy of file versioning, prevents mistakes, and greatly reduces upload times when working with large and/or complex assemblies.

Non-SolidWorks files such as documents and images are assigned version numbers when they are uploaded, but n!Fuze does not track changes to the file, and assumes that each time a non-SolidWorks file is uploaded it is a new version.
