Assessing the Safety of the Design

To view regions of the model with a factor of safety less than a given value:

  1. Type the value in the box and click Show where the factor of safety (FOS) is below.

    SimulationXpress displays regions of the model with factors of safety less than the specified value in red (unsafe regions) and regions with higher factors of safety in blue (safe regions).

  2. When you are finished viewing results, click Done viewing results to continue.
