GetFaces Method (IWeldmentBeadFeatureData)

Gets the sets of faces whose edges intersection defines the edges to which the weld bead is applied.

.NET Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Sub GetFaces( _
   ByVal Side As Integer, _
   ByRef FaceSet1 As Object, _
   ByRef FaceSet2 As Object _
)
Visual Basic (Usage)
Dim instance As IWeldmentBeadFeatureData
Dim Side As Integer
Dim FaceSet1 As Object
Dim FaceSet2 As Object

instance.GetFaces(Side, FaceSet1, FaceSet2)
C#

   out object FaceSet1,
   out object FaceSet2
)
C++/CLI
void GetFaces(
&   int Side,
&   [Out] Object^ FaceSet1,
&   [Out] Object^ FaceSet2
)

Parameters

Side

Side as defined in swWeldBeadSide_e

FaceSet1
First set of faces
FaceSet2
Second set of faces

Example

Remarks

After using this method, use IWeldmentBeadFeatureData::GetVirtualEdges to get the new intersections. Then use IWeldmentBeadFeatureData::SetVirtualEdges to specify the edges to which you want the weld bead applied. By default, IWeldmentBeadFeatureData::SetFaces creates the bead on all virtual edges. IWeldmentBeadFeatureData::SetVirtualEdges lets
you exclude any of these edges.
