Pattern Recognition PropertyManager

Use this PropertyManager to recognize patterns.

Click Find Patterns in the Intermediate Stage PropertyManager to display this PropertyManager.

Pattern Recognition Mode

Automatic Select a Pattern Type and click .

Select a Pattern Type and Pattern Features.

Pattern Type

Mirror Under Pattern Features, select a Seed feature and Mirror feature.

Pattern Features

For Pattern Recognition Mode - Automatic and Pattern Type - Mirror
Seed feature Select one seed feature.
Mirror feature Select one mirror feature. FeatureWorks automatically selects the mirror plane and all applicable mirror features. FeatureWorks calculates mirrors for each separate feature. For example, if a seed feature contains an extrude and a fillet, FeatureWorks creates two mirror features; one for the extrude and one for the fillet.
For Pattern Recognition Mode - Interactive
Seed and pattern features (For Linear, Rectangular, Circular, and Sketch Driven types of patterns.) Select the seed feature only. FeatureWorks searches for applicable pattern features.
Search Selected Features Select a seed feature and then its probable pattern features. FeatureWorks searches for patterns within the selected features only.
For Mirror patterns only:  
First seed feature  
First mirror feature  
Other seed features Select additional seed features to create additional mirror features. These seed features must use the same mirror plane as the First seed feature.
