Bryant Angle Results

Orientation of one coordinate system relative to another is defined by a sequence of three successive rotations. The three Bryant angles define one such body-fixed rotation sequence.

The three Bryant angles, Angle 1, Angle 2, and Angle 3 in Motion Analysis results are the sequence of X-, Y-, and Z-axis rotation angles measured about the body of the rotating coordinate system.

Angle 1

The first angle of rotation in the Bryant angle rotation sequence. Angle 1 measures the rotation about the X-axis of the rotating coordinate system.

Angle 2

The second angle of rotation in the Bryant angle rotation sequence. Angle 2 measures the rotation about the Y-axis of the rotating coordinate system after the Angle 1 rotation has been applied.

Angle 3

The third angle of rotation in the Bryant angle rotation sequence. Angle 3 measures the rotation about the Z-axis of the rotating coordinate system after the Angle 1 and Angle 2 rotations have been applied.
