Axes Properties

Axis

X and Y Axis Select one of these to specify its properties. When finished, click Save Page and select the other axis to specify its properties.

Y Axis Number

(available when you select Y Axis). Enter the Y-axis to modify. You can use this option only if you display more than one plot on the same chart.

Axis

Automatic Draws the axis with a black solid line with a line weight of 1.
None Does not draw the axis.
Custom Allows you to specify the following:

Style

Specify the axis line style.

Color

Specify the axis color.

Weight

Specify the axis line weight.

Major and Minor tick mark type

Inside The tick mark starts on the axis and extend inwards towards the center of the plot.
Outside The tick mark starts on the axis and extend outwards away from the center of the plot.
Cross The tick mark starts outside of the axis, crosses the axis, and finishes inside the axis.

Tick Mark labels

None No labels are displayed along the axis.
Next Labels are displayed along the axis.
Show moving tick (Available only when you select the Y Axis.) Select to display a tick mark that moves along the curve as the animation is played back. The properties of the moving tick can be specified by selecting the Marker tab.
