Tags

Tags let you associate keywords with documents to make it easier to search for them.

To tag a document in SolidWorks Explorer:

  1. Select a document on the File Explorer tab in the left pane or from the file list in the right pane.
  2. In the Tags field at the bottom of the left pane, click to display a list of tags that is already in use.
  3. Select a tag from the list or type a new tag.

To use a tag in a SolidWorks Explorer search: In the Search box at the top of the left pane, type the tag and press Enter. The Results tab displays the documents that you tagged, with the tag identified as a keyword.
