Creating and Modifying Configurations

You can use the Modify Configurations dialog box to create, modify, and delete configurations in parts and assemblies.

To create a new configuration:

  1. In the Modify Configurations dialog box, at the bottom of the Configuration Name column, click <Creates a new configuration>.
  2. Type a name and press Enter.

    You can right-click any configuration and click the following:
    • Rename Configuration
    • Delete Configuration
    • Add Derived Configuration
    • Switch to Configuration. Makes the selected configuration the active one.
