Redrawing OLE Items in Drawings

If any part of an active OLE item in a drawing is covered, the item may not redraw when it is uncovered. This behavior may occur, for example, when you move a stencil across an active Visio item.

To redraw the OLE item and restore the drawing, do one of the following:

  • Deactivate the OLE item and reactivate it.
  • Select one of the eight handles on the border of the OLE items.
You can move OLE items in front of or behind drawing views and annotations. Right-click the OLE item and select Bring To Front or Send To Back.
