Document Properties > Tables > Punch

NOTE: Setting any of the following punch table values means that new punch tables added to the drawing use these default values. However, a punch table that uses a template table for insertion might not use these default values because the template table contains certain properties that take precedence over these default values. These properties include the tag style, precision values, combine tag, and combine same size.

IModelDocExtension::SetUserPreferenceToggle(swUserPreferenceToggle_e.swPunchTableCombineTags, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified, <Value>)

Boolean value

If true, then punches of the same size are assigned the same tag, and the punch table contains a Quantity column, which indicates multiple punches of the same size exist

Combine same tags

IModelDocExtension::GetUserPreferenceToggle(swUserPreferenceToggle_e.swPunchTableCombineSameSize, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified)

IModelDocExtension::SetUserPreferenceToggle(swUserPreferenceToggle_e.swPunchTableCombineSameSize, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified, <Value>)

Boolean value

If true, then punches are the same size, and their cells in the Size column are merged and appear as a single cell

Layer

IModelDocExtension::GetUserPreferenceString(swUserPreferenceStringValue_e.swDetailingLayer, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingPunchTable)

IModelDocExtension::SetUserPreferenceString(swUserPreferenceStringValue_e.swDetailingLayer, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingPunchTable, <Value>)

Valid options:

  • "Border"
  • "Dimensions"
  • "Notes"
  • "BOM"
  • "FORMAT"
  • "None"

This setting is available only on drawings; depending on drawing, some options may not apply

Origin indicator

IModelDocExtension::GetUserPreferenceInteger(swUserPreferenceIntegerValue_e.swPunchTableOriginStandard, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified)

IModelDocExtension::SetUserPreferenceInteger(swUserPreferenceIntegerValue_e.swPunchTableOriginStandard, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified, swDetailingStandard_e.<Value>)

See swDetailingStandard_e for valid options

Specifies the detailing standard to use for displaying the punch table's origin symbol

If you specify -1 or 0, then the origin symbol is displayed according to the default document detailing standard; otherwise, the value is from swDetailingStandard_e and the punch table's origin is displayed according to that standard

When setting this value, any existing punch tables in the drawing are updated to use this dimensioning standard

To determine the default document detailing standard, get the value of the document's integer user preference swDetailingDimensionStardard

Tag angle/offset from profile center - Angle

IModelDocExtension::GetUserPreferenceDouble(swUserPreferenceDoubleValue_e.swPunchTableTagAngle, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified)

IModelDocExtension::SetUserPreferenceDouble(swUserPreferenceDoubleValue_e.swPunchTableTagAngle, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified, <Value>)

Double value

The origin of the punch tag text is at this angle, in radians, clockwise from the Y axis at the distance specified by swPunchTableTagOffset (see the next enumeration); the angle must be between -360° and 360°

Tag angle/offset from profile center - Offset

IModelDocExtension::GetUserPreferenceDouble(swUserPreferenceDoubleValue_e.swPunchTableTagOffset, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified)

IModelDocExtension::SetUserPreferenceDouble(swUserPreferenceDoubleValue_e.swPunchTableTagOffset, swUserPreferenceOption_e.swDetailingNoOptionSpecified, <Value>)

Double value

The origin of the punch tag text is this distance from the punch at the angle specified by swPunchTableTagAngle (see previous enumeration); the offset must be > 0
