Customize Options

If you customized SolidWorks menus or shortcut menus, you can set them back to default values or show all menu items. You can also customize toolbars, menus, and the Task Pane according to an area of expertise.

To access the Customize dialog box, with a document open, click Tools > Customize, or right-click in the window border and select Customize.

Shortcut customization

Show All Displays all menu items.
Reset to Defaults Resets all menu items to the system default.

Menu customization

Show All Displays all menu items.
Reset to Defaults Resets all menu items to the system default.

Work flow customization

When you select work flow customization, the following changes occur in part documents.

To display hidden menu items, click Customize Menu at the bottom of the menu. You can also override customization in Tools > Customize.
