Highlighting

Items in the graphics area are highlighted when you select them, or dynamically highlighted when you move the pointer over them.

You can set the colors for selected items, dynamic highlighting, and other user interface items in Tools > Options > System Options > Colors.

Selected Items

How selected items highlight depends on color settings, the display style you choose, and whether RealView is active.

Dynamic Highlighting

When you move the pointer over an edge or a face, edges highlight as thick solid lines; edges of faces highlight as thin solid lines. RealView does not affect dynamic shading.

Geometric relations such as endpoints, midpoints, and vertices highlight when the pointer approaches them, then change color when the pointer is poised to select them.
