Sketching Polygons

Create equilateral polygons with any number of sides between 3 and 40.

To create a polygon:

  1. Click Polygon Tool_Polygon_Sketch.gif on the Sketch toolbar, or click Tools > Sketch Entities > Polygon.

    The pointer changes to Pointer_Polygon.gif.

  2. Set the properties in the Polygon PropertyManager as necessary.
  3. Click in the graphics area to place the center of the polygon, and drag out the polygon.

  4. To sketch another polygon, click New Polygon and repeat steps 2 through 5.
  5. Click PM_OK.gif.

    The Polygon tool is still active. You can create additional polygons, although the PropertyManager does not open.
