Creating Sketch Points in 3D Sketches

You can insert points into 3D sketches.

To create sketch points in a 3D sketch:

  1. Click 3D Sketch Tool_3D_Sketch.gif on the Sketch toolbar, or Insert > 3D Sketch to open a 3D sketch.

In new parts, the view changes to Isometric.

  2. Click Point Tool_Point_Sketch.gif on the Sketch toolbar, or Tools > Sketch Entities > Point.
  3. Click in the graphics area to place the point.

    The Point PropertyManager appears.

The Point tool stays active so you can continue to insert points.

To change the properties of a point in a 3D sketch, select the point and edit its properties in the Point PropertyManager.
