Inserting a New Part into Another Part

You can create a new part from solid bodies or surface bodies by using the Insert Into New Part command.

When you use the Insert Into New Part command, you can copy cut-list properties to the file level or the cut-list level.

You can access the Insert Into New Part command by doing one of the following:
  • Right-click a solid body or surface body.
  • Right-click a cut-list item in a weldment part or multibody part document in the FeatureManager design tree.
