Checking New Components into an Enterprise PDM Vault

Check in new components created by CircuitWorks to make them available to other users.

  1. Open an ECAD file in CircuitWorks.
  2. Build the assembly.

CircuitWorks creates new component models for components that are not already in the Component Library. The folder for the component models is specified by Components on the Models options page. When using Enterprise PDM, the Component Library folder must be in the local vault view.

  3. Using Enterprise PDM, check in the new component files.
