Annotation Leaders

You can select leaders to attach to annotations. Not all leaders apply to each annotation. You can also change the attachment point of most annotations.

To change the attachment point of an annotation:

  1. Select the annotation.
  2. Drag the leader's endpoint to a different attachment point.

Type

leader_yes.png Button Leader    
leader_jog.png Button Multi-jog Leader Inserts a leader with as many bends as required. multi_jog.gif
PM_note_NoLeader.gif No Leader Inserts a leader with as many bends as required. leader_no_leader.gif
leader_auto.png Button Auto Leader Removes the leader.  

Location

leader_left.png Button Leader Left Forces the leader to run from the left side. leader_left.gif
leader_right.png Button Leader Right Forces the leader to run from the right side. leader_bent.gif
leader_auto_lr.png Button Leader Nearest Inserts a leader on the left or right, whichever is closest to its attachment point.  

Style

leader_straight.png Button Straight Leader Inserts a leader with no bend in it. leader_left.gif
leader_hor_beside.png Button Bent Leader Inserts a horizontal bend in the leader. leader_bent.gif
leader_hor_above.png Button Underlined Leader Underlines the text in a note. This is available for notes only. leader_underlined.gif
