Capture 3D View PropertyManager

Use the Capture 3D View PropertyManager to specify details for a 3D View of the active model.

To open the Capture 3D View PropertyManager:

Do one of the following:

  • At the bottom of the SOLIDWORKS window, on the 3D Views tab, click Capture 3D View.
  • Click Capture 3D View (SOLIDWORKS MBD CommandManager or toolbar).
3D View Name Uses a unique name for the 3D view.
Configuration Lets you select a configuration for the 3D view if the model has multiple configurations.
Display State Lets you save a display state to the 3D view if the model has multiple display states.
Annotation Views Shows annotation views that are defined for the model and lets you select those to include in the 3D view.
