Using the Dimension PropertyManager

Use the Dimension PropertyManager to choose the type of dimension to apply to a feature.

To use the Dimension PropertyManager:

  1. Open a model with features.
  2. Click Smart Dimension (Dimensions/Relations toolbar) or Tools > Dimensions > Smart.
  3. Click a dimension type:
    • DimXpert location dimension
    • DimXpert size dimension
    • Reference dimension
  4. Place the dimension.
  5. Set the PropertyManager options.

    • For DimXpert location or size dimension, the DimXpert PropertyManager appears.
    • For reference dimensions, the Dimension PropertyManager appears.

  6. Click .
