Select Components Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to add components to the Routing library.

To display this dialog box, from the Piping and Tubing Database dialog box, click Select Components.

Component type properties

  Library path Displays the location of the Routing library parts.
  Show existing database components Displays all Routing library parts in the database.
  Scan library for missing database components Displays all Routing library parts that are not in the database. When selected, you can select Show excluded components. You must run the SOLIDWORKS software to select this option.
  Show excluded components Displays components that were previously excluded from the database.
  Exclude If you select Exclude, then click Save and OK, the next time you open the Select Components dialog box, the component is not displayed.
Filter Filters a database column, based on selected filtering criteria.
  Save Saves changes to the database.

Excluded Folders

You can hide the contents of specified folders in the Select Components dialog box.

Add Adds a folder to Excluded Folders.
Delete Removes a folder from Excluded Folders.
