Explode PropertyManager (Multibody Parts)

The Explode PropertyManager appears when you create or edit exploded views of multibody parts.

To open the Explode PropertyManager:

Click Exploded View Tool_Exploded_View_Assembly.gif (Assembly toolbar) or Insert > Exploded View.

Explode Steps

Displays existing explode steps.

Explode Stepn One or more selected solid bodies exploded to a single position.
Chainn A stack of two or more selected solid bodies exploded along an axis using Auto-space solid bodies after drag.

Settings

PM_components_select.gif Bodies of the exploded step Displays solid bodies selected for the current explode step.
  Explode direction Displays the direction selected for the current explode step. Click Reverse direction PM_reverse_direction.gif if necessary.
PM_distance_nonum.gif Explode distance Displays the distance to move the solid body for the current explode step.
  Apply Click to preview changes to explode steps.
  Done Click to complete new or changed explode steps.

Options

  Auto-space solid bodies after drag Automatically spaces a group of solid bodies equally along an axis.
PM_minimum_value.gif Adjust the spacing between chain solid bodies Adjusts the distance between solid bodies placed by Auto-space solid bodies after drag.
