Changing a Part's Display Settings

You can change the appearance and transparency for parts. For solid and surface bodies, you can also change the display mode (for example, wireframe or shaded), and whether the part is hidden or shown.

To change a part's display settings:

  1. Click at the top of the FeatureManager design tree.

The display pane appears to the right of the FeatureManager design tree.

  2. In a multibody part, to change display settings for a specific body, expand the Solid Bodies folder.
  3. Move the pointer in the Display Pane to activate a row.

The feature or body is highlighted in the graphics area.

  4. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click and select a display setting from the pop-up menu.
    • Click in the column for the setting you want to change.
