Selection of Small Entities

New selection paradigms make it easier to select small entities without having to zoom or use selection filters.

When you make repeated small mouse movements as you try to select an edge or face, the software switches to a more precise selection method. When your mouse movements become large again, the software returns to the selection method used in previous SOLIDWORKS versions.

To prevent the new selection method from being used, click Tools > Options > Display/Selection and clear Enhance small face selection precision.
