ExcludeFromBOM Property (IComponent2)

Gets or sets whether to exclude a component from the bill of materials.

Property Value

True to exclude the component from the bill of materials, false to include the component in the bill of materials

Remarks

This property applies to table-based bill of materials; it does not apply to Microsoft Excel-based bill of materials.

If you change this property to True, the name of the component in the FeatureManager design tree changes; (Excluded from BOM) is appended to the name of the component in the FeatureManager design tree. To update the FeatureManager design tree, call IFeatureManager::UpdateFeatureTree.
