Modifying Local Settings

Expand the Local Settings node in the left pane to modify local client settings.

Group Policies

Use the Group Policy editor to modify or add SOLIDWORKS PDM policies on the current system.

Log File

Display the Log File viewer to see details of problems reported by this SOLIDWORKS PDM client.

Settings

Change the SOLIDWORKS PDM client settings that are unique to the currently logged in Windows profile.

You can configure:
  • Automatic login settings
  • The behavior of the Copy files to compressed archive option in the SOLIDWORKS PDM Copy Tree function
  • Methods to be used to resolve CAD-file references
