3D PDF Improvements

Publishing to 3D PDF is enhanced:

  • You can use the display styles Shaded with Edges and Hidden Lines Removed.
  • You can export non-rotated decals and textures to 3D PDF, but you cannot have decals and textures on the same face.
  • You can include projected views in the 3D PDF.
  • You can include an independent viewport in the 3D PDF if the template contains one.
    1. In the 3D PDF Template Editor, click Independent Viewport and place it in the template.
    2. In the Publish to 3D PDF PropertyManager, select a view from Independent Viewport.
  • You can include multiple BOMs in the 3D PDF, and you can select which columns to include in the BOM.
    1. In the 3D PDF Template Editor, click BOM Table and place it in the template.
    2. On page 2 of the Publish to 3D PDF PropertyManager, under Output BOM Table, select a BOM and columns to output.
