Dynamic Preview for Intersect and Trim Surface Tools

The Intersect and Trim Surface tools provide a set of preview options that make it easier to navigate and remove regions in a model.

The Preview options in the PropertyManagers let you select regions and exclude them in the graphics area. The preview dynamically updates as you work through the model to access the regions you need. As a result, there is less clutter in the graphics area and no overlapping regions.

If you need to revert to a region that is excluded, you can add the region back to the model by clicking Invert Preview.

Previously, you could only select regions from the PropertyManagers which made it difficult to identify the regions you wanted to remove.

For the Intersect tool , click Insert > Features > Intersect . For the Trim tool , click Insert > Surface . Then in the Trim PropertyManager, under Trim Type, select Mutual Trim.
