Bolts and Pins on the Same Part

Bolt and pin connectors can start and end on the same body.

When defining a pin or bolt connector, you can select geometric entities that define the start and end of the connector from the same body. For example, circular edges of the bolt head and bolt nut, or cylindrical faces for a pin belong to the same body.

These bolt connectors can start and end on the same part:
  • Standard or counterbore with nut
  • Countersink with nut
  • Standard or counterbore screw
  • Countersink screw
