Running the Optimization Design Study

After setting up the design study, you select the Optimization check box and click Run on the Design Study tab. The number of iterations the program depends on the quality of the study.

In general, the computation time depends on:
  • The quality of the design study
  • The number of variables, constraints, and goals to optimize
  • The number of simulation studies to run for each iteration
  • The complexity of the geometry
  • The size of the mesh used for simulation studies
